hey guys.....
I hope I am not driving you all mad with my posts but I need to keep trying to see if there are people out there who have had their dorsums augmented. I have had a few on here tell me to stay clear from it, as I do have a bridge, its just not a high bridge, which I would like from the imaging pics he did of me and my surgeon seems to think it would look good (his idea, not mine, though I really like it on paper, but don't know if its wise to mess with it).
My surgeon says septal cartilage does not buckle up or show under the skin like ear cartilage would and its safe.
Anyone know if this is true?? I have had a few replies but I need to hear from patients who have had this done before....... any bad experiences?? I know one person told me of her bad experience with septal cartilage, but she didnot mention if it was on her bridge.... and there was one success story of a woman who told me her bridge was augmented with septal cartilage and it stayed put and its been ten years and never warped or anything like that. I need to find others who have had a good experience as my surgery is 3 weeks from now and have to decide whether to get my bridge worked on or just leave it alone and work on the rest of my nose, tip especially.
Thanks guys for your imput.
Chris
